Options

Configure your instrument

Options and modules for the Digidrop goniometers and the 3S tensiometers — chosen at order or added later.

Built to order

Digidrop goniometers and 3S tensiometers are configured at order: the measurement task decides the dispensing system, the temperature control, the accessories and the software. The same platform that serves a research laboratory can be specified for a routine control laboratory.

Options can also be added later. Most of the families below can be retrofitted, so a configuration can follow the work rather than anticipate every future need.

Choosing options well

The useful question is not which options exist but which ones your method needs. An interfacial tension programme on insulating oils needs a flame-annealed ring, verified water and temperature control — and very little else. A surface energy study on packaging films needs controlled dispensing and the right analysis module.

Our advice starts from the method you run, not from the catalogue. The lists below describe the option families; the contact details connect you to the team that matches them to your work.

Digidrop contact angle options

Dispensing systems

Single or multi-liquid dosing, from manual syringes to automated dispensing for measurement sequences and dynamic studies.

Temperature control

Controlled stages and enclosures for measurements above and below ambient, with the sample and the liquid at controlled temperature.

Software modules

Drop-shape analysis, surface energy evaluation and automated measurement routines for repetitive protocols.

Sample handling

Stages and fixtures for films, fibres, powders and irregularly shaped samples.

3S tensiometry options

Probe geometries

Du Noüy rings, Wilhelmy plates and dedicated probes matched to the method and to the liquid pair you measure.

Temperature control

Jacketed vessels and circulation for controlled-temperature measurements, with both phases equalised.

Automation

Sequence control and sample handling for routine laboratories running repeated series.

Software and data

Correction-factor handling, method libraries and export options that fit your records and your quality system.
